Lotus

I will be speaking about the Lotus Quickr application. Lotus Quickr is a collaboration that allows at least two parties to work on certain tasks for their company. The content is shared and has a variety of features including access to team calendars, blogs, forums, and other ways for the company to stay connected. When you first access the website, it shows you the numerous features it has and how you can work to use these to your full potential. Lotus is connected with a lot of IBM features and others like Microsoft Office and Outlook. Lotus also allows authorized people within the company to store team content for all authorized personel to view and make changes to. The blog states that this could be either a pro or a con. Pro because it is limited to only a certain amount of people to control, and a con because people who may have great ideas are not aloud to make changes because they are not authorized.
I believe this application is not as unique as people may think. There are a lot of companies out there that do this kind of sharing to keep the company as connected as possible. This one may have more features because it is more up to date, but there are a lot of companies now a days who do things like this to stay connected, even smaller ones.

I like the item of Lotus Quicker application just because it allows more than two people to perform on certain materials. Multitasking is a good skill for a program to have as a key feature. This can allow users to work on the same project or different at the same time. This allows companies to complete more work at once which can effect performance in the work field.
